4 year old bichon in the vets again

today we have taken Toby my bichon into the emergency vets once again he has now been put on a drip after lots of TLC last night. he will be going through lots pof blood tests an ultrasound to see what is going on in the abdoman and intestines. he is going to be kept in overnight as he wasnt eating or drinking for a whole week and was loosing weight.

hopefully he will not be going like my other dog who is currently on medication for life and he is only 7 months.

anyone else had a similar experience if so I would be soo grateful if you could tell me to keep my mind at rest

All I can say is, its about time! They should have done all that to start with.

Without seeing the dog, I can't help you I'm afraid, but do keep us updated.

Re: 4 year old bichon in the vets again

hi everyone just had the phone call and managed to miss the vet.
they have found something they said when i heard the message and want to do further treatment on him. so I rang back and their answering machine had been switched on so i will ring back in the morning and let you all know

I hope its not the 'C' wordcrying:
I love my little boy to pieces I cant afford to loose him, he is too precious

i wish i had someone I could talk to!
its making me feel ill thinking about it all
