youll be adding the offal in soon then I guess?

same as malmum, I cannot get my lot to eat the whole rabbits! so thats a great start for yours
Adding in the liver and oval was the next question
so far they have both had small slithers along with there meals and like it raw,
Does come out other end a bit soft though !
I'm estimating Zak to be around the 45kg & Charlie 32-35kg
So they will need 5 % of there weekly food to be made up of this.
Is that right?
Also can somebody clarify what tripe comes under is it classed as
Muscle meat?

Tripe is in its own class I would say but yes included in the 80% muscle meat band. I would say mine get about 20% tripe in their diet.

approx 5% will need to be liver and anothe 5% as other offal, lung spleen kidney etc
You will get there just carry on with the teeny amounts and build up
I feed Willow (golden retriever) he whole weekly liver amount in one meal with a nice boney carcass to go with it now.

A nice boney meal with their liver will help firm them up.

Did you get your heart off of scott? I havent been able to get heart off of him in ages lol

what you boy does with the bones is what my girl does with the wholw rabbits!! just carries them around everywhere!

Re: Hi Newbee with questions

Yes we managed to get heart and liver from Scott on last delivery in early January.
But no chunky tripe or bunnies.
Thanks for the info on tripe /liver that's what we'l try
what you boy does with the bones is what my girl does with the wholw rabbits!! just carries them around everywhere!lol there lovely,it's so much more enjoyable feeding them this way.
For dog & owner they love it,Charlie wags his tail the whole time he's eating his meals.
Zak's a bit more serious just chomps away with the odd look up
We've noticed a difference in there behaviour to much calmer and very politely wait for there food to be handed to them.
All in all best thing we've done.

He still gets a bit of the bigger bone when Charlie has his, he naws away at it gets the meat of
Then parades about with it hanging out the side of his mouth looking all chuffed lols
Sometimes they do swallow a bit that is too big but they often cough/vomit it back up re chew it and swallow it again. He will soon get the hang of it
