Root Canal Surgery - Vet required in Cumbria/Lancashire

Hi

My Labrador has damaged one of his K9's and my local vet thinks he needs root canal surgery to save the tooth. The problem is that my local vets in Kendal, Cumbria, don't do this procedure and he has recommended a vet in Harrogate.

Before a travel half way across the country I was wondering if anyone could recommend a vet that can do this procedure in the Cumbria/Lancashire area?

Cheers, Stuart

This would be so unusual the best thing to do would be get a list of vets in the area and ring round. That level of special skill to do canine dentistry really goes beyond normal vetinary practice. Normally they just remove the tooth.

Thanks for your replay. I thought that might be the case. O well, Harrogate here we come.
