Re: minced tripe from DAF..is this green tripe??

Someone who orders from them will be able to help Im sure. The difference is green tripe has not been cleaned and/or bleached- its green because it still has the animals stomach contents attached to it- it reeks- but they love it!

Re: minced tripe from DAF..is this green tripe??

Just to add the cleaning/bleaching removes most of the nutrients which is why feeding green tripe is preferred. White tripe shouldn't do any harm but why feed something which has no purpose?

Re: minced tripe from DAF..is this green tripe??

I get DAF tripe and minces but they supply to a number of raw feeding suppliers but I have been assured by my supplier that the tripe is Green and as they get it from DAF then yours must be green tripe also

Green tripe as Goblin said - isn't bleached, so you get that lovely aroma and goodness out of it
Blondie likes this.

From DAF i order the 'whole green tripe' which is about 10kg worth, but i would assume it's green tripe
