Frontline and Lice

Hi,

After seeing vet yesterday we used frontline spary on our pup as she has got lice.
She is still scratching today. Those that have used the frontline spray - how long did it take for the dog to stop scratching?

Thanks

Re: Frontline and Lice

I have never used it on lice... Fleas and ticks, yes. With the fleas you can see some abandon ship straight away, others hang around, and die within the next day or so.
Don't be tempted to re-spray your pup, as you CAN overdose a dog with Frontline, and it can cause awful problems, can even kill.
Did you/Vet really work the Frontline into your pup's coat? It's a poodle right, curly coated? The spray needs to get thru to the skin.

Re: Frontline and Lice

Thanks for the replies.

As far as I'm aware we got it down to the skin. She does have think fluffy curly hair at the moment so not the easiest thing.

I think the bites are biggish so I suppose they will still be itching.
I will see how she is over next few days and then take it from there.

Thankyou
