Re: Concerned about saggy belly
She had a season in June (her first one) and then again at the beginning of September but that one was very short and very light.
She has been quite clingy lately and has been digging at all her bedding, are these signs? I never even considered something like that, I am going to google! |

. Is there any chance she could have been caught? Any sign of lactating? |

Re: Concerned about saggy belly
Well I would just keep a close eye on her for now then and give her extra cuddles, she will probably want to be close with you. If she starts lactating or seeming very under the weather and it doesn't clear up on it's own then you should take her into the vet and they can give her some hormone treatment. My poor girl got to the point of having morning sickness and really saggy, lactating boobies before the vet offered treatment

Re: Concerned about saggy belly
Thank you for your advice. Should I take her to the vets, would they be able to do anything?
I was going to get her spayed after her next season so will have to speak to vet to see when this would be possible if she might have a phantom preg again! |

.I would wait until the phantom has completely cleared up before spaying as it will have increased the blood flow to her uterus and can cause them to bleed out during surgery . It would be worth speaking to the vet about this as (like Ceearott said) if she has had one she is likely to have another and it can be an awful lot of hassle. |
