Yeh I give ollie a wainrights tray or they do wet in tins mixed with the wainrights kibble. I tried him on the tinned chappie mixed with his kibble but after speaking to my vet when booking ollie in for his man hood taken away she said chappie is great for adult dogs with upset tummys and recommended it. Did try him on a few tins and he lloved the wet mixed with his kibble so hence we have now changed him yet again to all wainrights. It was our local pets@home store that said don't mix wet with dry said dry is best for there gums and teeth, so I then took his word. But if the vet said its fine then why not. So I'm now listening to her. So fingers crossed he is on this food for a while as I have tried lots. Good luck.

![]() Yes, you would be able to feed WW wet for one meal and kibble for the other 2. I would gradually change one meal at a time. When you've got one fully done, start on the next. Bit drawn out but less chance of upset. Another way you could do it is to divide the amount of WW you intend feeding for one meal over all 3. Put a chunk in a bowl/jug and mix in some warm water to make a gruel and then mix in the kibble. That way you arent feeding it dry which I feel is better and it makes the other 2 meals more interesting. Less chance of eating the wet meal and passing on the kibble ones You would obviously need to cut back the amount of kibble a bit. Another thought - WW trays RDA is v small. Most wet trays recommend Heidi has a full tray a day. WW -1/4 -1/3 Heidi has at least 3/4 tray WW a day.![]() Hope this helps a bit more

It works well for our two totally different dogs, nice pick-upable poo too! Rosie was on RC when she came, and this is waaaay better...and also we tried her or JWB first and that didn't suit her at all...very messy... I think it's a good affordable choice. One bag lasts our two (10 kilos and 26ish kilos) about a month so it's good value. Naomi xxx |

Some links for you to browse through- British Dalmatian Club - Food and Feeding Low Purine Diet for Dogs | eHow.com And finally a food that may suit your dog- Sensitive Ocean White Fish and Potato I hope you find a good food, but also youv got to know that not all dals are prone to form uric acid stones, some dont! It is important to ensure they drink plenty of water to help keep the urine diluted. If feeding a dry food add a cup of water to it just before feeding. That way the dog will take the water as well as the food. And if you prefer to feed a wet food,i could recommend Wainwrights turkey, which is also a low purine meat, this can be bought from Pets At Home! Good luck

Thanks again for the replies, it's been really helpful to have other (more knowledgable than me!) opinions
I've decided I'm going to go with the WW trays and the WW dry and see how he gets on with those ![]() Thanks again everyone ![]()
