I have decided to try making my own food for my 3year old rottie and 2year old ridgeback, I've found loads of sites with ideas on what to cook but nothing on how much i should feed them. Has any1 got any idea on how much they should eat? At the moment they both have 500g of dry dog food. King my rottie weighs 45kg and kizzy my ridgeback weighs about 30kg. I have always struggled with kizzy's weight, she's very active and never seems to put alot of weight on.
Has anyone else got a rottie or ridgeback which is fed on a homemade diet?

hi, with raw feeding they say to feed between 2-3 % of their expected adult weight per day, however if they put on weight or loose it you can adjust it, not sure if this applies to homemade food but would think its a guide you could use.
