Protein Help Please - Taste of the Wild

I have just joined the forum and look forward too chatting about all things doggy.

But I'd like to pick your brains please

I am looking to change my Japanese Akita food to 'Taste of the Wild' which I have seen has a protein level of 32%. She is currently fed 'Barking Heads' Which is only 22% protein. Will the difference in protein levels cause any problems?

thanks JKD

Protein is used for growth (this includes hair and nails), repair, and maintenance and if it comes from an animal source so much the better.

Thanks for the replies guys. Will the extra protein cause tummy upsets or change behaviour? Just want to be sure this will suit her. Thanks.

It should not but be aware that you may need to feed LESS of this food than the current one.

She normally has a cast iron stomach lol so I'm sure she'll be fine. She's not a greedy dog so less may even suit her as she often doesn't eat all the Barking Heads.
