She HATES water but she's had a bath in the last couple of weeks in some flea/anti bacterial shampoo - from the vet - which hasnt really helped. She seems to lick when the boss goes out - so that could possibly be a nervous problem.

I never knew that about apple cores, I know that grapes and raisins are bad for them and she never has those.

As for food, no doubt she's on a commercial wet food, if this is the case - what sort of wet food would be better?
