Hehe, well I think it would probably help me as I'm rubbish in the kitchen , was worried I'd chop my hand off or something so something that makes the job easier and requires less force will probably be a big help!

Re: Raw feeders - how do you carve :o?

Ahem I am a little less refined than you lot, If I'm cutting up a chicken I put it in a plastic bag bash it with a hammer to break some of the bones and then use the kitchen scissors to cut it up.....lamb rib cages my dad took a sledge hammer to....and anything else is a very sharp knife.

Re: Raw feeders - how do you carve :o?

lol OH brings me carcasses already prepped...i had to fight a whole chicken last Sunday to get 1 wing as a treat for the dog

We bought a whole chicken tonight(was a huge one but only £4 from the co-op) and we ate the breasts and legs(i think) and Tummel now has a lovely fresh carcass for his breakfast tomorrow...and a whole rabbit for dinner

Re: Raw feeders - how do you carve :o?

KatieFranke shows how to do this on the raw sticky I believe. I just cut it up with a knife. Wings, legs, breasts.
