Supplements to promote hair growth?

My LC chi is now bald on is bum and neck and looks a bit of a mess, i want something that will help him get his coat back, any ideas?
I have seen kelp seaweed and evening primrose oil but don't know which 1 would work best, have used EPO before but he had a full coat then so i wouldn't know if it makes a difference or not

I've not tried it but I was told to give Button sea kelp to get the hair growing on her bum.

Re: Supplements to promote hair growth?

Mine have Dorwest Herbs Keepers Mix daily - it's excellent for hair growth and conditioning the skin - my rescues had patchy coats when they came to me but they all have thick, gorgeous shiny ones now

It's a vile smelling green powder - and fussy dogs might not take it well, but it can be mixed with something tempting and smelly like tuna!

Explains the benefits - Keepers Mix for Dogs - Dorwest

I get it from VetUK though - Dorwest Keepers Mix - From £9.66

Re: Supplements to promote hair growth?

Its the dorwest stuff i've been looking at the kelp stuff is on offer at the moment, so may give that a try then may try the keepers mix
Any tablets have to be well hidden as he's quite clever, and powder also has to be put in a piece of chicken or something other wise he won't touch the food its been sprinkled on
I wonder if theres anything i can rub onto the skin too
My boss has a whole cupboard full of dorwest stuff that she doesn't even use
