Re: I think Woody is depressed

I dont think Woody is depressed I think he is bored,he really needs excercise to perk him up,mine get the bored look if they are a few hours past there walk so they can run and smell all the different smells. It's a bit like us being stuck in a room day in day out we would be bored

My mum is very old fashioned with Woody and believes he doesnt need toys and mental stimulation. And Im off work ill with no money and unable to be upright, so i feel quite helpless and its awful to see him like this.

Ive brought him a kong (thank god for overdrafts, lol) and its meant to arrive tomorrow, im hoping this perks him up a bit.

Im trying to pursuade my mum to get him some toys.
I'm sorry to hear that you're ill but is there nobody else who can take him out for you. If my dogs only went out at weekends they'd be more than depressed, they'd be climbing the walls.

Re: I think Woody is depressed

His lethargy is probably because he isnt getting out. Do you not ever feel like this yourself, the less you do the less you want to do -kind of thing.

I really hope you manage to talk your folks into taking him out. He really really needs it.

Can you not use yourself as an example, for instance - if you have been on the sofa since July, are you not going demented not being able to go out? If you feel like this, then could you not put it across as to how the poor mutley must be feeling.

I really feel for this poor little guy, please try your best to get him some life.
