At the moment, I'm feeding Apple 3 times per day, 8am, 12.30pm and then 5pm. I wonder if it be best to do 4 times a day, 8am, 12 noon, 4pm and 8pm.

But is 8pm too late to feed a puppy? I've loads of questions today.

how old is it?

She's 7 weeks old.

Honestly, four times a day is best. She's a little young to be away from her mam . Is she eating ok and a good weight for her breed?

I would say 4 times a day, shes very young. I would perhaps give her evening meal later then you are doing too, it is a long way to go round to the next morning at the moment, sometimes they can become stressed and agitated in the night if they are fed too early the previous day as they can become hungry so wont settle as well, or so Ive seemed to find personally.

12 hours without food is very long

I used to give my first feed about 6 and the last one about 10pm.

Thank you all once again. I'd been reading Victoria Stilwell's book and her routine when she adopts/ fosters dogs that need routines to feed and eliminate.

She feeds at 8.30am/ 1pm and 4pm (I think), I must have read this and just thought it was about puppy training
