Thanks all for your advice.

I will get a couple of weeks supply of food from the breeder then start mixing it over a period of 10 days or so. I have been looking at Arden Grange Puppy food which I can order in from my local pet shop as cheaply as online. The makers of Arden Grange are sending me some samples to have a look at first and they were very helpful with advice. Apparently it uses the best parts of the chicken!?

Will let you know what the outcome is.
