When can I leave the skin on chicken wings?

Just a quick question, I tried Kenzie on chicken wings a few months ago and they went straight through her with very unpleasant results.

I wanted to try chicken again so spent about a week giving her just chicken meat in increasing amounts, and today tried her on a chicken wing with most of the skin taken off. It seems like she's handled the wing really well, but I'm just wondering how long I should keep taking the skin off for before I can leave it on? I don't want to rush things but at the same time, getting skin off a chicken wing isn't the easiest thing to do!

Re: When can I leave the skin on chicken wings?

With one of our dogs we had to leave the skin off during the first couple of days. The others two were fine with it on. After a couple of days with chicken and firm poop it was a case of slowly leaving more and more skin on checking the poop consistency until we could leave all the skin. I think it only took 4-5 days in total. This was when we first started on raw. Take/increase it slowly and you shouldn't get cannon butt. We took 2 weeks until we were happy the dogs had transitioned well to chicken and moved on to turkey.
