Re: frontline harvest mites

You can often see Harvest Mites they are one of the few mites you can see with the naked eye and are orange/reddish in colour. It is only the Larvae stage that causes the infestation and itching and they should drop off after a few days.

Checked up on the Antibiotic for you, and it looks like you should consult the vet before giving anything else.

Drug, Food, and Test Interactions
Consult your veterinarian before using
cephalosporins with vitamins,
supplements, aminoglycosides
(gentamicin, neomycin) or amphotericin
B, anticoagulants (blood thinners, such
as heparin or warfarin), and probenicid,
since interactions may occur.

Re: frontline harvest mites

As the spot on treatment is very much less effective whien it comes to the distal parts of the animal ie paws and ears you would find the spray applied directly to affected areas a much more effective remedy.
