Raw- protien question

Took the plunge and started my 2 older dogs on raw just over a week ago and it's going well. Both dogs loving the change. With thoughts to the new hunting season coming up and getting some venison and rabbit, mainly. Do I feed less venison than I would say chicken ? It puts weight on my hubbys' birds of prey like you wouldn't believe so does it do the same with dogs ?

Re: Raw- protien question

Venison is one of the best proteins you can give a dog, so you could feed it as often as chicken, it's normally the price of it that means people only feed it rarely!

I asked Lesley at Raw To Go when venison would be available as I'd like to be able to get some with my next order (which will probably be a couple of months or so yet). August - Xmas is the time it should be available. (Don't buy it all, please leave some for me )
