Re: Raw Food - All or Nothing?

I feed raw to both of mine, every meal, every day. My Dane has a fair bit of fish and olive oil because of the potential for joint problems with his breed. The Rottie has fish but not as much. They both have different preferences for different meats. My Rott doen't like large bones so he has them minced into the meat whereas the dane LOVES chomping on lamb ribs or chicken carcasses. The rott won't eat liver or heart unless it's minced whereas the dane will. It's a bit of trail and error when you start

If you want to feed half and half that should be fine, but don't do it within the same meal as kibble/cooked and raw digest at different rates but alternating days would be ok, just make sure that you use a good quality dry food.

Another vote for mobile bones here

I started my cat on it as she was getting a bit stiff in her old age and she has perked up a treat

Delighted to see another raw feeder! Do you get food delivered or do you just source it as and when?
