Re: Changing Food

I use Orijen six fish for my Greyhounds - they don't do well with grains, and a fish based kibble agrees with them better - they're doing absolutely great on it, it's a really good food. They had struggled to hold any weight and condition on grain containing foods but have had no problems since being on the Orijen. I feed it in conjuction with raw food, they get one day kibble and one day raw.

I also use James Wellbeloved, my other 3 dogs have that as their kibble - but they do well on any food and are fine with grains, so the JWB is a good quality, yet cheaper option for them - I couldn't afford to feed all of them on Orijen, but thats definately the better option!

Re: Changing Food

I don't feed it (although I do have some which I use as treats) but if I was to feed kibble Orijin would be the only one I would feed

Re: Changing Food

Thank you both. My dogs love it. More than any other food they have had. It is very expensive but I will be getting an employee discount so hopefully it won't be too bad.

Mine also get some raw food as a treat some days. Just had raw beef while mine is cooking in the oven! Lucky dogs, away with the fairies now!
