13 x Minced Turkey
10x Minced Chicken & Tripe
13 x Meaty Mince
1 x Liver Chunks
2 x Hooves stuffed with chicken mince

well i was very impressed with my self as i managed to cut the liver up into smaller portions and i didnt pass out lol i had visions of falling on the floor and having to be rescued . yep im normaly that squeemish.
ive figured out if i wear gloves it doesnt bother me as much.

he had chicken wings the other day for the first time and spent ages just licking it untill he figured out to do.

gave him a tiny bit of liver as i now i need to add abit extra. he seemed to like it which is good. ..to be honest it actually smelt quiet nice lol

the hooves that i got are they just like chews ??? do i freeze them again after he gets fed up of them

ooo sounds like a good order and well done on the liver front

i dont know with the hooves to be honest as I cant get them

Awesome stuff! Although Lola isn't a fan of the meaty mince... can't think why, but I guess they like us, have things they do and don't like!

As for the hooves, Lola ate all the mince out of it, got bored, so I just put it in the freezer again. It didn't have any meat in it though... I can't imagine it could do any harm? Their bellies are better than ours after all!

I'm going to pick up a freezer tonight so I can buy in bulk... then I'm off on Saturday to a supplier who's within driving distance.... I cannot wait!! Honestly, I'm so excited!! OH thinks i'm sad but I don't care!!

I managed to get a whole beef tongue in the butchers today. was enourmous lol. i missed getting the heart as well by 2 mins, not sure i would have been able to handle cutting up that size of heart (it was huuuuge). tongue was an experience but maddie and mabel both enjoyed trying it.
Very chatty helpful butcher, told me to call up at the beginning of the week and they will put anything like that to one side for me to collect at the weekend. also gave me the number of another butcher a few miles away who should be able to help with things like necks, lung etc. he said he's getting quite a few enquiries now for raw fed dog food
he was saying how he noramlly has to pay 30p a kilo to get that sort of stuff taken away, but since the influx of loads of eastern europeans he's had stuff requested that he couldn't give away before (pig faces etc) said their diet is much more varied than the normal locals he gets
