runny and (sorry about this) squirty poo...

Louie's just done one of these... they both had a rib bone yesterday and just wanted to check that there's nothing to worry about.

Also, Florence had a slightly mucusy poo (formed) and heard that this is normal after raw for the first time...

Louie might not react well to the rib bones. . . I know my dog sometimes has runny poo if she has turkey (although that's cooked) she will even poo in her own crate in the night if she's had it so we completely avoid it to spare her the tummy upset even though she loves it

she very occasionally reacts to chicken too

if it wasn't a large amount of sloppy poo and the dogs are acting really normal in themselves, no fever, drinking enough etc. then I personally wouldn't worry too much. . .if it seemed like a lot or if you're concerned about anything it wouldn't hurt to call your vet and ask for a bit of advice, even an out of hours vet will give you advice over the phone for free. . .

like I said though it's probably just a one off and just keep an eye out . . .if it carries on only let them drink water until a vet can see them to give their digestive system a rest

although apparently pumpkin helps to both prevent diarrhoea and also help with constipation. . .tinned is fine. (if you can find it somewhere)

I'm sure it's just a one off though from the change in diet and they'll both be fine in the morning
