Today I have placed my very first order for raw food for Scorcher. We have placed the order with durham animal feeds and we should get it on the 5th.
Pig Pancreas (1kg)
Minced Venison (20 x 454g/1lb)
Meaty Mince (20 x 454g/1lb)
Choice chunks (20 x 454/1lb)



I am hoping to see an improvement in her coat and her overall self since currently she is reluctant to even go out for a wee I am hoping that the food mixed with the medication (which is easier to get in her if something tasty is offered) will give her a lease of life.

I am not expecting a HUGE improvement but would love to see a slight improvement.
I will update this as time goes on.

She looks very approving in that photo gorgeous girl, I hope it does give her a boost, let us know how it goes.

I intend to bug everyone by updating it regularly.

I did go and get her some of the price choice stuff from P@H to do until her food arrives on teh 5th. She had it for her food last night and for breakfast she seems very happy at the fact she's getting special food.

DAF apparently had a break down and cant get the food to us till Monday.(at best). Waited in all day for nothing.

That's disappointing for you. I know how eager I was to receive Poppy's order from RTG. I'm sure Scorcher will be one very happy dog come Monday .

Did you check with DAF about the offal (particularly liver) content of their minces? Reading another thread there seems to be some discrepancy over the actual liver content and rather than 5% it seems it could be 1%, could be 2% or could be zero .

No it's not hun, you need to add some liver. I was told by the guy at DAF HQ (who make the R2G minces too don't forget ) he definately told me it was 1% liver if that! But if you have a peep at the list of stuff they sell they do sell liver chunks too, and very cheaply. Maybe the delay will give you a chance to add some liver to your order
