Re: Scorcher's raw trip

You may find chicken backs or quarters are a better size than wings. I know when starting a lot of people remove most of the skin, gradually building up the quantity left on as some dogs don't handle the skin well which can lead to loose poop.

The other thing is remember to take it slowly when introducing new types of food. A good example is liver or something like heart. Give too much of that too quickly and it will not be loose poop, it will likely be liquid cannon butt.

Pleased it's going well. I wouldn't be shocked that you may have noticed a change in coat quality already. It only took us about a week. If feeding Raw Meaty Bones as well, which you appear to be doing, you should also notice the teeth becoming whiter. I know we were shocked at the speed at which some changes occurred.

Wings seem right for her size tbh, although she looks like a GSD she is only 22inch high and 20kg. (and missing half her front teeth).

I am glad its working for her even if its smelly and messy.

Re: Scorcher's raw trip

Some pictures from this evening with her turkey neck...my OH popped it in the microwave to de-frost and accidentally cooked it a bit.

Yup she took it outside to eat it...

Excuse the flash.

We took it back inside as it was getting dark.
