Rocky keeps licking...............

his willy!! and getting a bit excited - he's only 4 months old - I have been discouraging him and he stops - should i discourage him, will he stop it eventually - we are going to get him "done" when he's about 7 months (would be 6 months but it falls on New Year's Day!)

It's a bit embarrssing if people are round?????

lol lol they do grow out of it, my 3 pups used to do it to each other and they would get excited they stopped after a while

I echo what Carol says - you really really don't want to know about my story and my boys (who is and was at the time castrated) willy and my vet encounter - you really don't!!!

This is very common at this age he will grow out of it but just keep an eye in case it gets sore or there any unusual in respects of discharge from his genital area. Mine was always getting his dip stick out and you could be certain it was when we had company. He also use to lick when he was hot.

my brother was reading over my shoulder he said he wishes he could do that

cobi does lick there all the time and he is 5 months old....its sometimes annoying especially when he wants to give u a kiss afterwards
But i never paid much attention to that....is this something i should stop him from doing?

Its common dog thing im afraid. Unless very essesive. They do like o want a kiss dont they. Yuck.
