Dreaded diarrhoea!

After some advice please!

So far, my 3 month chocolate lab puppy has been doing really well on his raw diet. However, for the last two days he's had diarrhoea, mainly overnight.

I know he's not ill as he's absolutely fine in himself, being his usual bouncy crazy self, not at all quiet or off his food, so I think it could be the pig kidneys we tried him with on Thursday. Yesterday I stuck with chicken wings all day but again this morning came down to a very dirty crate and puppy!

I read somewhere that rice and eggs can help so I've made up some eggy rice this morning and will stick to that today, but is there anything else I could/should be doing?

Sarah and Buddy

Re: Dreaded diarrhoea!

Sorry to hear Buddy is unwell. I love choc. labs. my daughter and grand kids have one. Chicken and rice is good to give, and a tablespoon of plain bio yoghurt mixed in works wonders. However if he is still like it by Monday I would ring the vets for advise. Hope he is better soon.
