No More Leaks!!

Anyone know anything about this product? Or used it? It's a homeopathic treatment for incontinence which naturally helps the sphincter muscle to tighten apparently- I don't know what's in it or how it works though.

Re: No More Leaks!!

Must admit I hadnt heard of it, Im assuming you mean the Homeopet leaks no more? Just had a look at it. The propolin from the vet does work Ive got one on it, but its not without possible side effects like most things. The way I see it at just over £10.00 you have nothing to loose and everything to gain, worth a try,
whats the worse that can happen? Its not going to work and you are going to have to clear up a few Pee acidents, its all natural and if it does work, then must be better for the dog in the long run. If it doesnt then there are alternatives veterinary wise. Might even give it a try myself now I know about it.

On another note Ive read that acupuncture has got good results in some cases too. Although obviously trying that is going to be more expensive for a course and Im not altogether sure if they have to have continued sessions too for it to carry on being effective.

You are right! I am going to try to find out more about it though. Katy is now on Incurin 1 mg tab a day for the next 2 weeks as opposed to the Propalin which the original vet recommended - I think because the incontinence is spay related- I am presuming that if she stays dry we will try a lower dose.

Ive never used the Incurin always the Propalin, so cant say what thats like, but as I think I mentioned before, Daisys on nowhere near the dose the manufacturers reccommend of that, she should be on about 0.6ml x 3 times daily. Did have her on 0.2ml morning and 0.3ml night. but recently increased to 0.3ml morning and 0.4ml night. Looks like she may be going in for a ACTH test next week though for Cushings, as shes drinking and peeing more plus some other things that looks suss for cushings. She had some blood tests done friday and if they are still up it looks a candidate. Again you have nothing to loose though, I just lowered daisys gradually until I found the least possible level that worked. The less drugs the better as far as Im concerned, again worst scenario is you have a couple of accidents to clear up here and there until you get it right, no point in giving and keeping them on a higher dose than what they need.
