Cancer
Hi Everyone,
I have not been in this forum for several months for a lot of reasons. Tonight I ask for your prayers Cancer is a wicked thing—we are battling it with my wife as she lost her twin about 18 months ago –I won’t go into this current battle with her—not now—–but things look very good However, if anyone remembers we lost Issac about 8 months ago but we still had our rescued dog Chipper. Chipper was thrown away in a field to die and was hit several times on his body—we did not find him—he found us and he has been the best dog second to Issac that we have ever had. He is the softest and most loving dog I have ever seen and anyone that meets him melts to his kindness. He is a mutt—half light brown lab and something else—we don’t care—he is our Chipper. This week we took him in for a routine checkup and he was diagnosed with Lymphsarcoma, and as most of you know, this is the worst kind of cancer in dogs. However, with that said, we also have the best natural and herbal pharmacist on the east coast of the United States right here in Jacksonville as he helps with most all zoos in the U.S. and works with several vets as well. We are starting Chipper on several things Monday morning and if anyone is interested I will update you on exactly what we put him on as well as 30 day updates. Wow-this is really tough but I firmly believe in natural treatments as I have seen it work several times—only time will tell if it works with Chipper—at this time he is extremely healthy and very active. The vet gave him between 2 months and 6 months to live—I do not know—we will see—it is tough to think what else could go bad—you lose one dog, almost lose your wife—and now this Thanks, Frank |

Re: Cancer
Cancer is a terrible disease. Praying for you, your wife and dear little Chipper. We sadly lost our Great Dane to bone cancer 3 years ago, such a shock. My son is in remission from testicular cancer. Every day free of cancer I am thankful for. Healing vibes coming your way xx

Re: Cancer
Hi everyone,
I am not sure I will get all of the names right--but here goes Lorna--your last day with your with your dog--good gawd--that is the tougest thing you can do. When Issac passed-it tore me apart so much--to feel and hold your dog for the last time is very, very tough it is only a dog and you can always get another one as most people will say--but they have no idea how special this one dog is to you-- lorna--I am in tears right now as I fear this is what I will have to do in the next few months--again Jayne and Cinammon--I also feel your pain There are alot of people that do not believe that dogs have souls--I am not one of them I believe that every life force has a soul--if not--how could a dog have a personality--and as we all know they all have different personalities I would like to do this even if I am totally wrong 1) List everything we give Chipper by our pharmacist and without any comment of why or how it can help 2) Update on any progress--if there is any--and then the next line of attack 3) Note everything that happened--even if we lose him maybe it will help someone else 4) If we lose him---well--he will cross that bridge and I believe that all of our pets will be there to welcome us when it is our turn Man this is tough Frank |
