fresh whole rabbit

hubby is a keen hunter and generally brings home far more rabbits than my lot can get through. would anyone be interested in buying for there dogs? can be skinned and gutted, so ready to chop up for the dogs or cats. we are based in warwickshire. all rabbits are skinned and washed within hours of being shot {with an air rifle, head shot} no damage to any of the meat.and can be frozen for later collection. other whole prey would be available as and when and within season. pm if interested to discuss details

Re: fresh whole rabbit

Wish I lived closer, I wouldn't mind the occasional rabbit to give a bit of variety, the few we get are usually for us!

Oooh I love rabbit stew, although you need to give it a good coating of flour because the sauce tends to be very thin. I can give you some recipes if you like

Re: fresh whole rabbit

I would love it, however I live about 90 mins from you... If it were to be frozen, it would last in my car coolbox though How much would you charge??

I love rabbit stew, and Holly loves rabbit in her dinner

Re: fresh whole rabbit

Years ago my ex used to go rabbiting with our lurcher. She was brilliant. Unfortunately, altho I made a v nice rabbit stew, I struggled to swallow it - too many thoughts running round my head I think

Why don't I live nearer?! Groan groan! The pups love whole rabbits. They're £2 from my local butcher, must run over there tomorrow.
