When we have a trip to the beach, when it's not raining, and the tide is right and the wind isn't too strong. We take our 11 yr old border terrier George for a good old game of football - he's very fit and well toned.

We sometimes stop off between football games for sausage and chips at the cafe. Sometimes I have a pint too.

You have to understand that he doesn't have a plate full of sausage and chips, but I do.
He just assists me in separating out the odd poisonous bits and putting them in a safe place.

Somebody told me that sausages are bad for dogs. If they are then this practice will stop.

But what I want to know is. Is it true?

A bit of sausage never does a dog any harm, mine share sometimes too. Now if you fed him just on sausage that wouldn't be good for him. If you eat healthily all the time life is so boring.

Mine have the odd sausage, they love it.
We also cook an old irish recipe called 'coddle' ingredients:
Sausage
tinned tomatoes
onions
bacon
water and a few oxo's crumbled in.
It's fliiping gorgeous on a cold night and the dog LOVE it! It's all boiled, so no frying and they lap it up!!

Mine have the odd sausage too and dont seem to cause any problems they love them.
