I hope you have someone who can go with you - I find I forget half of what I want to ask and most of the replies if I am in this situation alone!

I've heard this can happen too. My vet said it's more likely with puppy jabs given 2 or 3 weeks apart rather than 4 weeks apart. Sometimes if the first jab is given early (he says) when the mother's antibodies are still in the pup's system, coverage is less complete. No vaccinations are 100% though, but should mean the symptoms are reduced and the recovery quicker. Because of being vaccinated, your dog's immune system is prepared for this virus and can fight back.

This is from memory so cant swear its gospel so you would have to check.
I believe/think the Parvo vaccine is live and from memory once a dog is vaccinated it can be shed into the environment, if Matrix has been vaccinated the week before Blades sample was taken, and I am correct about it then in theory I think that may be your answer why it has showed up
possibly in Blades fecal test. He could have picked up some of the shed vaccine throwing the test off.

You can test the antibody titres for parvo. but a vaccinated dog will/should have antibodies present anyway, As long as antibody titres are present, then it means that it has been consigned to memory, on exposure then the dog should then produce more antibodies to that particular virus.

Or something along these lines Im rusty, its late and it is from memory without checking.
