Pooey bum!

Lennie munched his way through a quarter of a bag of jelly babies ( idiot me left them lying and went out the room for ten minutes) last night, when we got home last night he what i can only call "sharted" and had a puddle of runny poo. Got in and he slept, fed him only dry chicken this morning.
Very lethargic and sleeping loads more than he usually does, I know it's just cos his bums probably nipping as we've just been in the park an hour and he had a formed poo but then some runny stuff a wee while later.
Anyone got any remedies for runny poo?

Also will i continue with the dry chicken/his usual food/ chappie?

Re: Pooey bum!

I'd stick with boiled chicken or whitefish and rice for a couple of days and then slowly begin to reintroduce his normal food. Scrambled egg is ok if the dog is used to eating egg, but if it's a new food to them, then it can quite often cause the opposite affect!

Re: Pooey bum!

I might just do him chicken and rice tonight and see how he is later, so unlike him to be wiped out like this.

He's thankfully drinking well though.

Is brown rice ok for him or should i go buy white??

Re: Pooey bum!

Awww poor thing! I'd stick to boiled chicken/white fish and rice as advised for now. Glad to hear he's drinking. Hope he feels better soon.
