Mucus???? Sounds like colitis. Often caused by food a bit too rich for the digestive system.... or incidentally, stress.

Re: help required

Well i stayed with her all night and she slept from 11pm to 7am which she does most nights.

i let her out when she woke up and there was a tiny bit of the black runny poo followed by a "normal " amount of usual coloured poo which was ever so slightly runny.

it looks as though my girl is gonna be ok
even though i think she is gonna be fine im still taken her to the vets this morning for a check over and to be safe ( i dont believe you can be to safe )

would like to thank you all for the advice last night without you guys i think i would have been a nervous wreck ( i probably was anyway lol )

thanks again

mat
