Re: Please help - so worried

I'd like to say a massive thank you to all the genuine people who offered constructive advice and genuine support in my quest.

I did as I had always intended, taken my beautiful dog to the vet today. Thankfully the vet said she is 99% sure that it's just a fat lump. They did a syringe biopsy and we should get the result Wed/Thurs.

Once again thank you everyone. I'm soooo relieved

Kate

Re: Please help - so worried

Glad its all checked out, the vets usually have a very good idea, so hoping the tests confirm what the vet thinks.

Re: Please help - so worried

Hope everything is ok

I would like to point out though that a pre existing condition is not one that has seen by the vet, it is one that could be assumed to have been there at the time of starting the policy. Therefore if you took your dog to the vet with a lump that has obviously been growing for some time even if you had insured 2 weeks before the insurance company still would not pay. Obviously they are not going to put themselves in the position of having to pay out when someone takes out a new policy for an existing condition.
