Re: my puppy wont eat please help

Hi I shouldnt worry if its just been a day, as long as he is drinking. Sometimes they just go off their food or maybe shes not feeling great, Cola didnt eat yesterday but was drinking and today shes been eating and drinking well. Sometimes they just feel under the weather but keep an eye on him.

Re: my puppy wont eat please help

If it's just a day no need to worry, our vet said 'when he's hungry he will eat' and if he's not eating then he isn't hungry enough!

Just keep an eye that he isnt eating anything else of floor etc and monitor him for a few days.

Re: my puppy wont eat please help

has he been sick at all? does he get hold of objects that he shouldn't and perhaps try to eat them? Is his behaviour the same as the usual puppy behaviour he would display? If not then I would maybe give your vet a call just to be on the safe side. Sometimes they don't always eat as much, but then sometimes this can be a sign that something is wrong. Good luck and let us know how things go.

As the other folks have said, one day is not a problem but keep your pup under observation. If the pup still hasn't eaten, I'd suggest give your vet a ring tomorrow for advice and remind about the jabs. So long as your pup is lively and drinking I would not worry but a word with the vet will reassure you or help to pinpoint the problem if the pup needs a consultation.

It is probably the injection making him feel a bit poorly. Daisie was o.k untill the third day when she just wanted to sleep. As long as he is drinking he will be fine. Just keep an eye on him tomorrow and if you are worried phone the vets. Let us know how he is.
