Terra Cannis update

Well Wilson just had his first can instead of his usual Lillys Kitchen for his Tea

Very intresting opened, the can and was hit by such a delightfull smell of meat(it was Turkey with Veg,Pototoes and pear)

The boy wonder was up on his back legs as soon as he smelat it

Texture and consistancy difficult to compare with Lillys\Lukuluss\Rocco it looked more like a cross between a stew and Lillys lots of visible meat chunks....very moist(i love that word

Check out the picture of food in Bowl it looked exactly like it minus the Sprig

Great Deals on Dog Economy Packs at zooplus: Terra Canis Variety Packs 12 x 400 g

Certainly the opposite of NH\ND

It also had a Broth like liquid a cross between a gravy and a broth l

Needless to say the bowl made a circuit round the Kitchen

For anyone that feed Lillys the smell of this stuff smells even better which surprised me TBH

If his night pipe is as good as his Lillys Pipe ill be over the moon

If you feed a premium wet like lillys\Lukulus id recomend it(slightly less than Lillys in Price as well, just under £2) might be worth a go for a bit of variety

If he like the other flavours ill swao him over as it looks\smells better than Lillys and the ingredients listed look good

Re: Terra Cannis update

Out of interest, does the dog tin also come with its own plastic keep-fresh lid? Every single cat tin has one - now that is not very environmentally friendly, doubly so considering that it is a German company and they like to keep their packaging to a minimum.

Also, although the cat one (Terra Felis) contains quite a good amount of meat, the protein content is curiously low. Actually most of the calories in the food come from fat.

Just wondered whether it is the same for the dog ones.

Sounds as tho Wilson has landed on his feet and Dad has a few pennies in his pocket

How does Rocco compare to LK - I'm about to give it a whirl but it looks as tho every variety is mainly beef apart from the Sensible.
Got to give the "menu" 6x800g-£7.49 a whirl and hope we dont get whirls instead of pipes
Ordered some more LK and a bit of Rinti to try.

No, I mean Rocco and Lukullus are made by Matina GMBH, which also make the Smilla and Cosma cat food. They are a zooplus-only brand.

Terra Canis is made by a small independent company.

Luckily I am German so have no problems reading the labels or shopping from other German sites
