Top woman

I have got no idea hun - because there is no cat equivalent (don't forget i am a cat foodie, and only dip my toes into dog foods) I know next to nothing about ND. I only know about the other dog foods because of what they say on their websites and on the labels, and haven't asked them for the info that I have asked them about re their cat food (and that leads me to my question again - what happened to the peeps who were going to pull this info together for dogs?).

Personally, to me ingredients (and particularly the stuff they don't necessarily always put on the labels) are more important than the cooking process (which is again an area that is shrouded in PR and wool-pulling) as the process of making a tinned product tends to be very much alike (okay there may be some small differences), while ingredients might differ greatly.

So, re cat food I know where the flaws are in each of the foods imo (if there are any) and I am just interested to see whether the same is true for the equivalent dog foods as well.

Edit: But I am glad that you have discovered German pet food. Zooplus is a great first way of getting a taste for better quality foods for little more money (or even less money) but when you start looking at what you might get if you were to buy from other German online stores then the blinkers will really start to fall from your eyes.

Thanks for that. She wasnt too good on beef a while back but with a helping hand from BB - who knows :rolleyes I wouldn't want to feed just Rocco but it cant hurt to rotate it amongst some other brands. - Digging a big whole here to justify a bargain

Have you tried Rinti?

Re: Terra Cannis update

Hi,

I'm feeding my Bichon, Lucy, Orijen dry food at the moment and would like to start mixing some wet food into this. She is allergic to wheat, soya, peanuts and rice - I'm having trouble finding good qualiy wet food that doesn't even contain rice, but I have seen Terra Canis on Zooplus and am considering getting some of this. Are the ingredients used in this of good quality? Does anyone know of anythin similar I can get from places like Pets@Home rather than buying online?

Thanks in advance!

I think Natures Menu do a couple of cans with potato instead of rice and Lilys Kitchen.

Definately recommend zooplus - most of theirs is cereal free, probably better quality and price.
