Re: wet trays

I love wainwrights wet food I used to only feed Tummel the turkey but I got in 24 tins (12 fish 12 chicken) for variety, ducks too rich and he doesn't like the lamb

Re: wet trays

They're very similar, i prefer WW as i like the texture of it more than other wet foods. I also give my dog some chappie during the week as he loves

Re: wet trays

Hmmm if you had asked this a couple of months ago I would def have said WW. It sorted Heidi's tum out brilliantly but then made her constipated.

Probably because it contains 5% fibre and she doesnt drink enough.

My concern is the ingredient that provides the fibre. Most wets have up to 1% fibre and v similar ingredients. Chappie has 4% fibre but lists wheat. P@H cant answer the question instore and havent managed it by phone or email.

So, I would probably say ND longterm and keep WW for tum upsets.

Altho I think zooplus provide probably some better quality wets than ND at competitive prices.

Re: wet trays

No! Nature diet lamb variety is about the best imo!
But I would and do use the wainwrights - it is a lot better then many!

Re: wet trays

I think the trays are all around 390/395g so you would be feeding at least 1.5 trays WW trays recommend a lot less so that may be the way to go however lots of us found that we needed to feed that same RDA as ND, NH etc. cos it didnt satisfy them. For instance my lil 8k terrorist needs 3/4 -1 tray ND whereas 1/3-1/4 is the recommended WW amount.

Just wanted to add - re the high fibre, their cans are the same low fibre as ND etc. RDA is the same too. I've only tried the fish can and it was v wet and sloppy
