Whole Prey?

Does anyone feed whole prey?? I've fed chicks before that a friend got for me and I want to get some more and some quail but I can only find places online where postage is £11.99. As I have chihuahuas I don't really want to buy 100 as I don't have the space and whilst I am happy to feed it seeing a little quail whilst I'm getting my dinner out the freezer may put me off (good diet idea LoL)

Anyway just wondered if anyone knew of anywhere without ridiculous postage! There's a reptile shop nearby but I get the heeby jeebies so can't face going in there

Is there a farm nearby where you could get the male chicks from, I think most farms kill the males at birth.

This is Blue eating his pigs head - sneaked it in the house!!!

Magnum having a whole rack of lamb

They also get whole rabbits, fur and all and the whole lot gets eaten.

Re: Whole Prey?

Can't offer much help I'm afraid - I only have minimal freezer space, so buy in small quantities from a reptile shop for the cats. (Haven't yet managed to convince mum to give any to the dog yet!) They are more expensive but for me more convenient.

Out of curiosity, what outskirts are you on (north / south / east / west)? If you are very local and don't want huge amounts I could potentially pick some stuff up for you to collect from here? I think my place only does mice, rats, guinea pigs and chicks though.

I love it!!! Rabbits are way bigger than my girls I'd love to try them but my daughter would probably kill me

This is Lotus at 16 weeks with a chick! She weighed 2lb

Nooo, I don't have to space and I rent so not sure how landlor would like it and also my garden backs onto a field with woods and foxes so I think it would cause problems! And I would cry everytime I had to do the deed
