Omg

OMG i my Boston terrier has got sun burn around his nose/face (where it is white) , i have put aloe gel on it but he keeps licking it off! The area looks so red and sore i feel like such a bad mummy . I will be keeping him from sun bathing untill he heels and will be using sun screen for him next time.

Re: Omg

Sudocrem (babies nappy cream) is a total sunblock and works extremely well. My arab had a pink nose and poor man used to get sunburnt badly until we used sudocrem. I was running to the yard 3 times a day to re apply until then. One application of sudocrem and he was protected for the day however bad the rays.
God bless you Freddie x

Re: Omg

I would make sure that you always use a doggie sunscreen you can even get special ones for pets. White dogs and cats can be prone to burning and there is also a link to skin cancer especially in white dogs and cats.
