Re: Quick question for raw feeders

Just to point out, Littlewoods have offers on freezers at the minute. I just paid £210 for a 198l Chest freezer, which will hold enough food to feed a Leonberger and a border collie for about 5-6 weeks.

That's a good price Tanya, we paid more than that 4 a second hand one from ebay and we had 2 collect it which was no fun

Yes, I was really impressed. It has a separate section where I put all my minces and a cage where my minces go, meaning that all I have in the big bit is meaty bones and carcasses, makes it really easy for dishing out

Re: Quick question for raw feeders

Thanks, but unfortunately I'm moving country at the end of the year so it's not really practical to buy a freezer. I might look at going raw when we get settled next year though.

Ok another silly question - what about treats? Does feeding raw mean I can't give cooked chicken, ham etc as a treat?

Re: Quick question for raw feeders

I still give cooked treats- liver is a big favourite. I really dont fancy walking around with a pocket full of raw chicken.Yuk
One of the best things for me and feeding Raw has got to be the poo! I'm always saying to OH -'wow just lookat that' I know I need to get out more, but what comes out is small and firm

Oh, and teeth- gorgeous pearlies.
