Grain-free wet

Hi,

Can anyone point me in the direction of a grain-free wet food? Kenzie's been suffering from colitis a bit lately so I thought I'd cut out rice for a bit and see how she gets on. Her dry is already grain free.

I've found one in the lily's kitchen range, but does anyone know of any others? Or, should I get some Fish4Dogs Salmon Mousse and mix that with her dry?

THanks

I am pretty sure that the Rinti I had recently was grain free. It was the big 800gm size tins I had. Zooplus sell it! the dogs loved it . You could check that brand

Re: Grain-free wet

Thanks, just had a quick look and no grains in the Rinti. But it is made up almost entirely of meat by-products which I don't think is good quality meat?

Re: Grain-free wet

How about a raw mince rather than a wet food?

Re: Grain-free wet

The Harrington's is a bit rubbish - first ingredient is Maize. The Wafcol Salmon and Potato isn't too bad, although salmon is only 25%. Not even close to the Lily's Kitchen which is 60% Beef, although I'm not sure I want to feed beef.

Sorry I'm being picky! I do appreciate the suggestions

Re: Grain-free wet

I did think about raw mince but it's a bit of an unknown for me - I'm not really sure how to feed the raw business. I'd be willing to learn, but unfortunately I have very little freezer space (only a tiny ice box in my fridge!) so I don't think it's an option.

Re: Grain-free wet

How about Bozita wet?

Salmon - Bozita.com

The salmon is rice free.

Re: Grain-free wet

Yup that would be an option Although the feeding guide is interesting - A 5kg dog on Naturediet needs approx 300g per day but would apparently need to feed 450g of the Bozita!

Re: Grain-free wet

God it must be so difficult for you. What about just giving some tinned sardines or some raw tripe?
