Gadgie is on a distinguished road
first time dog owner - probably stupid question but....

Hi

Sorry if this is a stupid question. Just took Jake out for a walk and it was raining really heavy so we both got a good soaking When we got back I tried my best to dry him off with a towel but he thought it was a game and he got a bit excited so didn't manage to get him dry properly. Will he be okay if he is damp for a good while or is it in his best interests that I dry him off more thoroughly.

thanks very much

Best to dry as thoroughly as you can, especially in cold weather ... he should be okay of warmer days, just might make the house smell a bit more doggy

He'll be fine in warm weather - let him lay out in the sun to dry off, but in cold weather, keep him inside by the radiators/fire until he is fully dry
