Always ends up with them having a barney which I am again not keen on, the dogs dont like the rain and they wife wont have them in the kitchen with raw bones on the floor.

So because of all that I am looking into decent dry foods. I will be honest and say that lately money has become tight and so ideally I could do with not spending a total fortune every month.

I have always been told JWB is great but to be honest at £40 it is a bit pricey ( i know we have to do the best for dogs but the rest of the family need my money as well) I have also been told to try Supadog active as its VAT free, Ladywoods sell Laughing dog at a great price and it seems to be good stuff (but its main ingredient is ground wholemeal flour)

So then so far I am looking at

JWB
Laughing dog
Supa Dog
Tesco own brand Premuim

Any thoughts?
This may have been posted already, but if you are still considering James Wellbeloved its on 3 for 2 at the moment at Pets at Home. I dont know how long this will be on for, but Im hoping that it suits Hedley so I can stock up.

ugh sorry everybody I'm boring myself...
I know I've posted this already...
James isn't so wellbeloved any more ppl it belongs to Pedigree now and so if you buy it you're supporting a company that uses vivisection.
I know, it's disappointing....

This is the reason I took my cats off of JWB (my dog didn't do well on it ao didn't have to worry about that) it is very sad.

I understand what you mean about the vivisection, but it was at the end of a list of other foods that gave our pup diarrhoea, if he settles down on it he will be having it. If he doesnt, I will have to think again.

Have you tried Burns hun? it is a goodun - equal to JWB for quality I believe. I do understand though it is very difficult to find the perfect food (in all respects) for our babies and I'm not on a crusade by any means, just thought I should share xxx
