Sudden lump in throat, Help...
My 8yr old collie cross developed a large (about size of tennis ball) very hard lump on the front of her neck within the space of an hour from getting back from a run. It didn't appear to be bothering her and the rest of her behaviour was just as normal but i went to the vets anyways (well who wouldn't when their baby gets ick). The vet shaved the area and used a needle to see if there was any infection but there isn't.
Anyways since then she has started scratching a lot and it is weeping almost constantly. Does anyone have any ideas please? regards desparate doggy lover |

Re: Sudden lump in throat, Help...
Sorry, I don't think I can be of much help cos I'm at a loss to know what it could be. I'd guess a bite or a sting - but surely the vet would have been able to tell you that? In any case I think I'd her back to the vet for another assessment - there is obviously something not right! Fingers crossed that they can get it sorted out.
