Re: Mum being sick

Trying to keep her away from them now and last night she was howling to get to them. I let her and she was sick for them! Really need her to not do it as she is very thin and tired and I am trying to get some weight back on her.

Perhaps she should see you feeding the pups, and perhaps feed her at the same time,a and after they are all finished take her away from the for an hour or so.

Do not stop her going to them at other times.

I would be feeding her at least four times a day just like the pups and as much as she will eat.

We did that with Meg and I have to say it made a difference. She also had about 4 meals a day along with the pups. She has her lovely figure back now...infact...she's getting a little bigger than she used to beso I will have to keep an eye on that!
