People have different opinions on what makes a good quality dog brand. What ingredients do you look for? And what percentage of things (eg protein) is best for growing and adult dogs?

Protein depends on the source, if it's from quality meat sources I wouldnt even worry about the protein level.

In a quality food I would expect to see no grains and a minimum of 60% quality meat, preferably 70-80%. No artificial additives, preservatives or colourants. I also taking into consideration the cooking/baking/extruding process as that can impact the digestability of the end product.

I don't feed commercial foods, I feed raw but I do like to know what foods are good and which are bad so I can advise our customers and anyone who asks on here, raw isn't for everyone. The only commercial food I would ever feed my lot is Orijen.
