Homeopathy - Nosodes for protection?

Just some food for thought. Do any of you guys use Nosodes?

I have never used homeopathic medicine personally however it is an area i am interested in - sounds much healthier to me.

I think the challenge is (as mentioned in the article) most training classes etc need to see vaccination certificates so it feels bit like you have no choice but to do this.

i use homepatic rememdys on my self kids and animals however they do still hav there injections so we can go to training classes and 4 insurance purposes ! we use them for everything else thou

No, there is no clinical evidence/trial that shows they actually do work, and there can be bad side effects instead.

I do titre test my dogs each year instead of routinely vaccinating though and so far none have needed more than their pupy jabs. Next time we hav a pup I am going to test before any vaccinations.

How do you know what to use and when? And also where do you buy it??

I do find it very frustrating having to give boosters. I travel with my dog and the PETS Travel Scheme requires that all vaccinations be up-to-date.

As I work with dogs, I do see many react badly to vaccinations, earlier this year a client's 20 week old puppy suffered badly with Parvo even though the puppy had received two separate vaccinations for Parvo. (Forgot to mention that the vet was honest and said that he thought this was a reaction to the vaccination).

What I now do to help prevent any possible vaccinosis is give Nosodes alongside vaccinations. I start to administer the relevant Nosode 3 days before vaccination and then complete the Nosode treatment.

There are now many Holistic Vets in the UK, best to get advice from them.

Same as, our three will be getting titre tested in Decemeber to determine whether they need their booster vaccinations in January. I read a bit about nosodes a while back and was left far from impressed.
