BSc courses in canine and feline nutrition

HI!

Does anyone know of BsC courses in canine nutrition in UK, USA or AU? I can't seem to find any courses like that. I would love to work in a pet food company or similar and do research on pet (mainly canine and feline nutrition) nutrition.

Thanks

PS: I am also interested in courses (certificate) in canine hydrotherapy if anyone knows of a good course for that.

Re: BSc courses in canine and feline nutrition

Hi

There's nothing specifically for pet nutrition alone along the degree route certainly in the UK anyway. A lot of people in pet food companies either have initial training in human nutrition before specialising in pet food, or have trained as a vet/veterinary nurse.

As for the hydrotherapy, there are lots of courses around for this as its becoming increasingly popular. Do you have any hydro pools near to you? Try and go along and get some experience there as they can advise on qualifications needed.

Good Luck!

The state of most commercial foods I doubt you need more than half decent sat's results to get a job with them.
