Re: Other Foods

Did you mix it with the dried food? What type of dried were you using? I use Eukanuba.

Re: Other Foods

Yeah I mixed it with the dry food I got from the breeder, it's Burns puppy stuff.

I'm going to leave him on that for a couple of weeks and then change to something better.

What % of protein is the burns? Eukanuba is erm 33% I think.

Burns is actually one of the better complete foods on the market, but obviously if it doesn't suit Toby that doesn't matter

My 2 are on James Wellbeloved which is very good and they both love it, especially the fish flavour one

Re: Other Foods

He never seems really keen to eat it, and his breath is really smelly lol.

I'm going to try him on Orijen, see how it goes. I've got some coming in the post.

Re: Other Foods

Good choice
We've been on Orijen for awhile and it's been the best for our three and the cat by far. Just be sure to introduce it slowly. I think it's about 2x the protein % of Burns and it will take a bit of time for Toby to adjust.

Re: Other Foods

Burns is very low in protein. Good luck with your new food - when it arrives

Re: Other Foods

My dog gets a supplement of our food so do the cats. Its chicken tonight (no not the cook-in stuff).

We tend to eat a lot of chicken. Hubby and me have a quarter each and the pets have the other half.
